Why homeowners call us

One Team, the Whole Kitchen

A kitchen is the most trade-heavy room in a house. Cabinetry, stone, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical all land in the same space, in an order that cannot be rearranged, and the handoffs between them are where schedules go wrong.

We run all of it in house with the same crew from demolition to the final walkthrough, so there is one number to call and one person who knows why the job is where it is.

In Boca Raton there are usually two approvals in play rather than one: the city, and whatever your community requires. Knowing which applies before anything is priced is what keeps a start date honest.

What you get

Built the Way We Would Build Our Own

Every finish is treated as visible, whether you will see it or not.

One Accountable Crew

The same team from demolition to final walkthrough. No juggling a cabinet installer against a plumber against a stone fabricator.

A Scope, Not an Allowance

Selections are made before the number is set, so the estimate you agree to is the one the kitchen is actually built to.

Review Built Into the Schedule

City and community review each run on their own calendar. We sequence around both from day one rather than pausing a torn-out kitchen.

You Can Still Live Here

Dust control, a protected path in and out, and a temporary setup so the house works while its kitchen does not.

Cabinetry and Stone Done Properly

Scribed, levelled, and seamed where the seams belong. This is where a kitchen is judged and where shortcuts show first.

Insured, and Documented

Insured in Florida, with certificates provided directly to your association or property manager when a community asks.

Local knowledge

What a Boca Raton Kitchen Remodel Actually Involves

The parts of the job that are specific to this city, and that decide whether a project runs on schedule or waits on someone else's calendar.

The hood is what turns a kitchen into an exterior job

A kitchen renovation is an interior project right up until the range hood needs somewhere to go. Ducting a hood outside means a cap through a wall or a roof, and that is a change to the outside of the building.

In a community with architectural review, an exterior penetration is exactly the kind of thing that gets looked at, even though the rest of the kitchen never would. It is the single most common way a Boca kitchen quietly acquires a second approval, and it is worth settling at design rather than on the day the duct is run.

Gated communities have their own front door

A large share of Boca Raton's housing sits inside gated and country-club communities, and those come with a process before anyone touches the house: contractor registration, proof of insurance, gatehouse access for the crew, and permitted working hours.

For a kitchen this matters more than it does for most rooms, because the deliveries are large. Cabinetry arrives in a single load and stone slabs arrive on a frame. Both need a delivery window, a route in, and somewhere to stage. We confirm what your community requires as part of writing the scope rather than discovering it the morning the truck arrives.

The panel is often the real limit, not the layout

A modern kitchen asks a lot of a house electrically. Induction, double ovens, a dedicated circuit for the microwave drawer, another for the wine refrigerator, and lighting on more than one control.

In older housing stock the existing service can be at its limit before any of that is added. That is a load calculation question, and it belongs at design, because the answer occasionally changes the appliance package or adds a service upgrade to the scope. Finding out at rough-in is the expensive version.

Three trades, three sub permits, staged inspections

Boca Raton runs building permits through its Development Services department across two systems: applications, fees and inspection scheduling in Boca eHub, and plan review uploaded through Boca ePlans.

A full kitchen is not one permit and one inspection. Moving plumbing, altering electrical, and ducting a hood each bring their own sub permit and their own inspection point, and they have to clear in sequence before finishes go on. That sequence is the schedule. We handle the permitting process and coordinate the inspections so the order holds.

Permit procedures, community requirements, and building codes change. Everything above reflects published information as of July 2026, and we reconfirm current requirements on every project.

Final walkthrough together. We do not call it done until you do.

Common questions

Boca Raton Kitchen Remodeling Questions

Do I need a permit to remodel a kitchen in Boca Raton?

If the work involves plumbing, electrical, or structural changes, yes, and a full kitchen almost always does. Boca Raton issues permits through its Development Services department, with applications and inspections handled in Boca eHub and plan files submitted through Boca ePlans. We handle the permitting process and the inspections through the project.

My community has architectural review. Does a kitchen trigger it?

Usually not on its own, because a kitchen is an interior room. What changes the answer is anything that alters the outside of the building, and the most common one is ducting a range hood through a wall or roof. We establish at the walkthrough whether your project touches the exterior, because that decides whether a second approval is in play.

Can you move the island or the sink?

Usually, and the constraint is what is under the floor rather than the design. Homes here sit on concrete slabs, so relocating a sink or dishwasher means cutting the slab, rerouting beneath it, and pouring back. It is routine work but it is not free, and it is the first thing we check before a layout is settled.

Will my electrical panel handle a new kitchen?

Sometimes, and it is worth answering early. Induction cooking, double ovens, and dedicated appliance circuits add real load, and in older homes the existing service may already be close to its limit. That is a load calculation at design, and occasionally it adds a service upgrade to the scope rather than a surprise at rough-in.

How long does a kitchen remodel take?

Scope-dependent, and cabinetry lead time usually sets the schedule rather than the installation. We give you a dated sequence at the estimate and tell you which dates depend on a supplier rather than on us.

Are you insured?

Yes. We are insured in Florida, and we provide certificates directly to your association, community, or property manager when they are required before work begins.
